Peacock Camp Summer Adventure Day Camp Lake Villa Township's Peacock Camp Summer Day Camp Camp will be held in one week sessions and campers can sign up for any or all sessions.

Lake Villa Township’s Peacock Summer Day Camp offers an exciting and adventurous environment for your kids entering Kindergarten through 8th grade to have an unforgettable summer of fun. Camp days are structured with organized activities and schedules but also allow for some down time and weather contingencies if needed. Our counselors will work to give your child a positive and unforgettable summer experience.

This year for we set a lofty goal of raising $5,000 to help support Camp Mystic after the devastating floods in Texas Hill Country. And because of the generous support of our community we did just that!

Last week we celebrated and . At Peacock Camp we try hard to spread kindness every day. But this week it’s about more than just camp, it’s about community.

We did our best to spoil the counselors with treats, notes of kindness, action figures and more…

We also spent the week leading our campers in acts of kindness through our camp days and surprised them with a few fun events…

Additionally, this week we chose to focus our giving efforts through the American Camp Association’s Disaster Assistance Scholarship Fund to help our camp community in need. To date we have raised over $4,000 for Camp Mystic in Texas. If you would still like to donate, you can send a donation with your camper this week or drop it off at the Lake Villa Township office. Cash or checks made to Lake Villa Township Charities (a 501c3 organization) will be collectibely donated through the ACA.
