Lake Villa’s Lost Angels

I’m sorry for the delay in posting, I know many of you have been following this little man for a while now and you’re probably wondering what’s going on. 🤔 Well…he has gotten bigger and is trying really hard to grow into those ears! 🤣

Here are a couple update of where he is now:
-He’s officially 5 weeks old and that means he is eating on his own (kinda). He’s a very messy eater still but getting better!! No more bottles for this little guy.
-He’s playing more and chasing things. His foster mama says he really likes to chase feet!
-He is learning to climb!! His foster mama reports that she has been finding him in her bed in the morning instead of his little play pen. 😂
-He’s really loving some of the donations that have come his way! He loves the little feather ones pictured below and those bowls are so helpful while he learns to eat!! HUGE THANK YOU to the wonderful people that have donated!!
-We will be starting his vaccine series next week!
-We are continuing regular exams and dewormings weekly.

What these things also mean:
Crowley still needs help from his rescue loving friends on social media! He’s gonna need more food and litter and play things and of course medical care.

🎉 EXCITING NEWS! 🎉 We have officially crossed some baby kitten milestones!!! Crowley is *starting* to figure out how to eat on his own!!! He’s definitely not the most proficient at it. But we all start somewhere!!! (Don’t worry, he’s definitely still getting bottle fed and he is gaining weight nicely and on schedule) He also…. 💩 in the litter box for the first time this morning!!!

🎉 🐾🎉CROWLEY UPDATE 🎉🐾🎉CROWLEY UPDATE 🎉 🐾🎉CROWLEY UPDATE🎉🐾🎉

He is getting so big. His ears are starting to fit now! 😂 He has almost doubled in size since he came to us. He is starting to play a little more and even starting to figure out what a little box is!! He has even started grooming himself!!

Today he is spending some time with our custodian Raka. Naps, cuddles and a little hide and seek. Can you find him?? 🤣

We will be starting some solid food later this week or early next!!

Willam needs a foster home!

Willam is still looking for a foster home! He has been working very hard on his weight loss journey, but could benefit from being able to live a normal cat life, basking in the sunspots of his choosing!

The ideal foster parent will be:
- A one pet household - multiple pet households will be considered based on how pets do
- Be committed to helping Willam along in his weight loss journey
- Feed only the approved diet (provided by Lake Villa's Lost Angels)
- Provide love, enrichment, and exercise opportunities at home
- Bring him in for regular weigh ins (every 2 weeks)
- Work as a team with LVLA in order to provide the best care
- Report any and all concerns immediately to LVLA

Lake Villa's Lost Angels will provide:
- Willam's prescription diet food
- Scale to weigh food
- All veterinary care
- Litter/bowls/toys if needed

"Sir Willam Binx" came to us weighing nearly 30lbs! He has been working hard to get back in shape and is down almost 6lbs since he started his journey! He is even using a fitness tracker to count his steps 😊🐱. He isn't quite ready to be adopted out yet, but when he is, we're certain he will find his furever home quick!
