We want to thank everyone who came to the DLIA 4th annual Picnic in the Park yesterday. It sure was hot out 🥵🌞. Luckily, we had a blow up unicorn sprinkler, 100 water balloons and free ice cream to help us stay cool. We hope to see you next year!

DLIA July board meeting has been rescheduled from Monday, July 20th to Tuesday, July 21st at the Lake Villa library's AS conference room

DLIA Board members have received and witnessed multiple complaints about several boats with skiers and tubers in tow that are not displaying a flag. Also, a wave runner was seen towing a tube without a flag or spotter. To ensure everyone's safety, rules are in place, and an agreement to follow these rules must be signed when obtaining a boat launch key. Please, let's maintain a safe environment on our lake.

The LAST DAY for picking up boat and beach keys is this Saturday at Jack and Lidias, 10am to noon.

UPDATE! Its this Sunday the 7th not Saturday the 6th. Key pickup for boat and beach access is set for this Sunday June 7, 2026, at Jack and Lidia's from 10am to noon. The last opportunity for key pickup will be the following Saturday, June 13th also, at Jack and Lidia's, 10am to noon.

Key pickup will be available on Sunday, May 17th from 10am to 12pm during the 1st Avenue beach clean up, and again on Monday, May 18th from 6pm to 7pm before the DLIA May meeting at the Lake Villa Library conference room. Volunteers for the clean up event are both welcomed and appreciated.
