Blue Ridge Ringers The Blue Ridge Ringers are an advanced auditioned group of handbell musicians in Hendersonville NC.

Blue Ridge Ringers is a nonprofit IRS 510 (c) (3) performing arts organization dedicated to the art of handbell ringing. We were founded by Connie Engle in Hendersonville NC in 1995. We play five octaves of Malmark and Schulmerich handbells and Malmark Choirchimes. We perform concerts in Western NC in May and December of each year. We appreciated the support of the Community Foundation of Henders

on County which allowed us to purchase our Malmark Choirchimes. We seek to provide an opportunity to experienced handbell enthusiasts to ring with others of similar interests and skill; to experience, learn, and ring a wide variety of music of increasing difficulty; to introduce and promote handbells and the art of handbell ringing to those in the community unfamiliar with this instrument, to educate others in the community through performance of handbell music, and to encourage the public appreciation of and interest in handbell music; to encourage and further the acquisition of handbells and the music of handbells in area churches and schools; and to have fun!

Our May concert season is done! We packed up all the bells and chimes and other equipment (and it all fits into two members’ cars). We’ll take a break and rehearsals will start back up in August.

🎉 CHARLOTTE BRONZE IS COMING TO THE ASHEVILLE AREA! 🎉

Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee friends, we are pleased to announce that Charlotte Bronze will be performing 2 concerts in and around Asheville in June! We are super excited to perform for new audiences and for our friends who might not always be able to make it down the mountain to see us in the big city!

You will have 2 opportunities to see us in concert!

Friday evening will be in Downtown Asheville at the gorgeous First Presbyterian Church. It’s an amazing place to perform and we are thrilled they are hosting us!
Saturday afternoon at Grace Lutheran Church will be a partnership concert with The Carol Ringers and The Celebration Ringers of St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church of Annandale, VA. We are excited to ring with these extremely talented young men and women! It should be an amazing concert with 40+ ringers on stage at once!

You’re not going to want to miss these concerts! So mark your calendars and we will see you there!

Residents in Flat Rock celebrated Mother’s Day in an unexpected way Sunday evening, with a handbell ringing concert at St. John in the Wilderness.

We videoed our concert at St John in the Wilderness today and it will be available on YouTube soon. WLOS TV also filmed us and interviewed our director so look for our Carolina Moment at 10 pm and 11 pm tonight on WLOS news. Our Chamber Group performs in Asheville for the Asheville New Comers club tomorrow morning.

We love going to new venues! The crowd at Trinity Presbyterian in Hendersonville was very enthusiastic and asked great questions! Next stop Tryon Estates!
