Meet Gavin Broom - LHC Social Media Coordinator!

“Gavin Broom serves as the Social Media Coordinator for Lake Houston Conquerors, where he enjoys portraying the athletes, coaches, and families that make the organization so special. Through photos, videos, and creative content, he strives to capture the heart of LHC and share the community’s mission with others.

Outside of LHC, Gavin is a senior in high school and a dual credit student through Lone Star College. He is pursuing a career in education and psychology and hopes to begin studying at Houston Christian University in the fall of 2027. He also works as the social media coordinator for a local business, combining his passion for creativity, communication, and technology to help others bring their ideas to life.

When he’s not designing graphics or creating content, Gavin enjoys playing the piano, baking, studying, and spending time with family. Gavin is an active member of Woodridge Baptist Church, and he loves getting to serve in various roles!

Gavin is grateful to be part of the LHC community and loves using his gifts to serve others and glorify the God who is worthy of all praise!”

⭐LHC STAFF SPOTLIGHT⭐

Meet Eleanor Reddig - Cross Country Director!

“Coach Eleanor Reddig is a wife and mother of three sons, two of whom currently compete in cross country. A former high school cross-country runner herself, she understands the lasting impact the sport can have. Coach Reddig loved her experience as a runner and hopes to instill that same love of cross country in her athletes.

Her goal as a coach is to encourage athletes of all abilities, help them grow in confidence, and guide each runner toward achieving their personal best.

Outside of coaching, she serves as Committee Chair for her sons’ Boy Scout Troop and teaches at Super Friday. She has homeschooled her children for 14 years and will soon celebrate 25 years of marriage with her husband, Robert.

Coach Reddig’s approach to coaching is guided by Hebrews 12:1–2 and its call to run with perseverance the race set before us.”

We’re grateful for Coach Reddig’s dedication to encouraging our athletes and for the example of perseverance, faith, and determination she brings to the LHC cross country program! 🙌

Meet Sarah Sanders - LHC Basketball Director!

"Sarah Sanders serves as the LHC's Basketball Director! Alongside her husband, Richard, Sarah is passionate about creating a fun, encouraging, and Christ-centered basketball experience for every LHC family. Together, they are committed to helping young athletes grow in skill, confidence, teamwork, and character throughout the season.

Richard and Sarah have four children, all of whom will be playing LHC basketball this season, giving them a firsthand appreciation for the importance of a positive and supportive league environment. Sarah loves building relationships with players and families and helping make LHC a place where everyone feels welcome.

Outside of basketball, Sarah enjoys working out at the gym with Richard, gardening, reading, and spending time playing board games with family and friends. She is also an active member of Devo Church, where she enjoys digging into God's Word with others and growing in her faith through community.
If you see Sarah around the gym this season, be sure to say hello! She looks forward to meeting each LHC family and helping make this a memorable season. Go LHC!"
