One last song at Presidents Reciprocity.

The Blacksmith Boys on the stage. E carved pumpkin on the amp. Cowboy hats in every row. Members from three different clubs sitting under the same burgundy curtain, clapping in the same rhythm, at the end of a really good day.

This is what EWC has been doing for 120 years. We open our doors. We put on a spread. We bring in a band like The Blacksmith Boys. We celebrate the women showing up beside us. And then we make plans to do it again.

Lake Elsinore City Councilmember Michael Carroll and LEUSD School Board Member Heidi Dodd, out at the lake with their family and supporting our EWC give-back night at Bobber on the Lake.

This one means a lot. Two of the elected leaders who serve our city and our school district, choosing to spend an afternoon with us in support of the scholarship fund we run for local students. That is exactly the kind of alignment our club has been building with Lake Elsinore for 120 years: women in service on one side, elected leaders in service on the other, and the same young people winning on both.

Heidi, thank you for being such a steady friend to Elsinore Woman's Club, on top of everything you already do for our schools. Michael, thank you for showing up for District 4 in yet another way. And to your family, thank you for joining them and joining us.
