Honestly, both of those days are completely normal. Experiencing a setback doesn't mean you're failing; it just means you're human.

For today’s reflection, I wanted to share a beautiful Hawaiian word that carries so much heart:

Mālama (pronounced mah-LAH-mah).

At its core, mālama means to care for, protect, and cherish.

As we head into the weekend, remember that mālama isn’t just about what you give to others—it’s also about what you allow yourself to receive.

Take a little time today to show yourself the same kindness and compassion you so selflessly give away. You matter, too.

Let’s carry the spirit of mālama with us today. Care for each other, and please, take care of yourself.
