As Mental Health Awareness Month is almost over, the challenging issues our children deal with on a daily basis are not. From anxiety, depression, bullying, trauma, peer pressure, violence, and self-esteem struggles, so many of our youth are silently carrying burdens that often go unnoticed.
Now more than ever, our children need support, safe spaces, guidance, encouragement, and people willing to truly listen. Mental health is real, and helping our youth learn healthy ways to cope, heal, and grow is important to their future and overall well-being.
Let’s continue to check on our children, encourage open conversations, and provide them with the tools and resources they need to thrive mentally, emotionally, and socially.
