🌟 Reflections Art Program is back!

Each year, students are encouraged to create original works of art in response to a student-created theme. This year’s theme is: β€œWhat My Culture Means to Me”

Students are invited to express their creativity through art, photography, literature, music, dance, and film while sharing what makes their culture unique. πŸ“·πŸ’ƒπŸ“πŸŽ­πŸŽ¨

Submissions will be due in early Fall, so use the summer to gather inspiration and put your thoughts and ideas together! β˜€οΈ

Our PTSA was honored today with an HSA award from the Capistrano Unified Council PTSA (made up of all the PTA/PTSAs in CUSD). We received this recognition for our support of San Juan Elementary School earlier in the year, as this exemplified our mission as a California State PTA to positively impact the lives of all children. 🫢

Another example of your PTSA dollars at work!

Esencia kindergartners are enjoying their field trips to the Ecology Center this week! Located on a historic agricultural property that is today surrounded by urban sprawl, the Ecology Center is a 28-acre Regenerative Organic Certified farm and education center that serves as a hub for southern California’s ecological movement.

Students learned and saw where fruits and vegetables come from, got to pick and sample fresh fruit from the vine, and tasted homemade jam made from the strawberries grown right there on the farm.πŸ“πŸŒ±πŸŒΎπŸ§‘β€πŸŒΎπŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎ

Field trip rating: 5 stars!!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
