Our PTSA was honored today with an HSA award from the Capistrano Unified Council PTSA (made up of all the PTA/PTSAs in CUSD). We received this recognition for our support of San Juan Elementary School earlier in the year, as this exemplified our mission as a California State PTA to positively impact the lives of all children. 🫶

Another example of your PTSA dollars at work!

Esencia kindergartners are enjoying their field trips to the Ecology Center this week! Located on a historic agricultural property that is today surrounded by urban sprawl, the Ecology Center is a 28-acre Regenerative Organic Certified farm and education center that serves as a hub for southern California’s ecological movement.

Students learned and saw where fruits and vegetables come from, got to pick and sample fresh fruit from the vine, and tasted homemade jam made from the strawberries grown right there on the farm.🍓🌱🌾🧑‍🌾👩‍🌾

👩‍🏫 👨‍🏫 That's a wrap on Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week! 🥳

Today, we treated our teachers and staff to a trail mix bar and a tasty take home treat! 🍪 The week is over but we hope you all know how much we appreciate ALL that you do for our little Hawks each and every day! We truly have the most wonderful teachers and staff in the world! 🌎 THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! 👏

Special thanks to PTSA Hospitality Chair Meghan Webb for knocking this week out of the park! 🙌🏻🤠

Thank you to all of the Hawk families who donated to help keep our teachers and staff fed and hydrated all week long. Thank you to everyone who helped set up and clean up and all things in between! We are so thankful! 🙏

🥔 🥤 On Day 4, we were really hoping to keep our teachers and staff full and smiling all day long! Teachers and staff were treated to a baked potato bar for lunch with a make your own dirty soda on the side! The snack cart was back and made its way around campus again serving up snacks and drinks to get everyone through the day! 🍿🥨🍪

We also included an extra special treat to recognize our teachers and administration for all they do for our students, all day, every day! 🧢 👜🥰
