Jean, Rebecca, and executive director, Donna Colbert, gathered at the Capitol this year to raise our collective voices against Big To***co.

They, along with hundreds of advocates met with several California representatives and educated them about the harm caused by To***co in our local east county areas. Donna and Jean met with Senator Kelly Seyarto for SD-32 and a staff member. From the office of Assemblymember Carl DeMaio for AD-75, they met with a staff aide, and from the office of Senator Akilah Weber Pierson for SD-39, they met Legislative Director, Elizabeth Bojórquez, and lastly from the office of Assemblymember Chris Ward for AD-75, they met with Communications Director, Anthony Reyes. Thank you to and your amazing staff for spending the time learning how we can work together to save Californians from the leading cause of preventable death.
