When eternity lies beyond what we see, a difficult event becomes an insignificant trifle moment. So don’t look at the troubles we see now. Don’t fret about the people who appear to be getting away with wrongdoing or worry about the personal problems we face. Rather, fix your gaze on things that cannot be seen. Look intently upon God. God’s Word gives rest amidst the ceaseless changes of life. God’s word gives hope of triumph of truth and justice. God’s word gives strength to endure the present troubles. Moses endured the hardships he faced by fixing his gaze upon the invisible. Though tempted by wealth and position, Moses resisted; threatened, canceled and banished by tyrannical wrath, he endured to see their complete demise. Then after leading his people into freedom he was tried by his unbelieving brethren and endured the wilderness for forty years as he beheld the invisible. Indeed God has planted eternity, a sense of divine purpose in the human heart, a longing for God which nothing else can satisfy. For the things that are visible are temporal, brief and fleeting, but the things that are invisible are eternal, lasting forever. Jesus, God’s Son, opened the window of eternity by defeating death, separation from God which is the curse of sin, and made a way for us to be forgiven and enjoy the eternal benefits of Heaven now, which begins with His acceptance and His presence. “For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Acknowledge your need for a Savior. Believe and receive God’s provision, His Son, who of His own self took our sins upon His own body, bled and died. And on the third day He was raised from the dead and is seated at the right hand of the God, the Father. He says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20). Admit your need for a Savior. Believe and receive God’s provision, His Son, and enjoy His presence. In His presence is the fullness of joy and “the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).

Hebrews 11:27 - It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible.
Philippians 4:12,13 - I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.
Romans 1:20 - For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
