A shelter built to save lives has become a place dogs wait to die. 😤

The shelter director makes over $373,000 a year, yet this shelter has become notorious for warehousing dogs in kennels and killing them instead of getting them out alive.

There are no regular and ongoing playgroups or meaningful enrichment for large dogs—robbing them of their mental and physical well-being while also making it harder for adopters and rescues to see their true personalities.

This isn’t lifesaving. It’s a failure of leadership, and the dogs are paying the price. With a budget of upwards of 20+ million dollars a YEAR and the means to DO BETTER, they don’t enact change. This shelter is an epic failure.
