Frank Baum (author of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz) to Syracuse and Mattydale, New York and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz . Under the umbrella of

the foundation is The Land of Oz Preservation Company (L.O.O.P. We have been established in Syracuse and Mattydale for over 25 years, bringing talks, tours, events, fundraisers, lectures, presentations, displays, exhibits, and help promote festivals and events. Thanks for posting OzCon International! In the coming days we will post a series of great moments with Bob Baum. Hope others will do the same. So enjoyed sharing the research/history I found on L. Frank and the Baums ancestry and early life with Bob. And the pieces of history he had and shared it with me. I was so honored. He will be so very missed. Our condolences to Clare and the family. Also, to Gita Morena and Roger and Charlene Baum.
