George & Mary Jones Family Reunion Inc. Greetings Jones Family!!!! We are here to celebrate the birth of this family. We are the descendants of George & Mary Jones. We will continue to move forward!!!

We owe it to our ancestors to keep the family together & with God's help and one another we will be able to do that. Our roots began in Williamsburg County located in South Carolina. Our ancestors were born into slavery and fought their way for survival. They were farm owners, Mary Jones was a certified mid-wife and both of them worked hard for their family. Being that there hasn't been a reunion

in over 20 years, a lot of us don't know one another. Now the time has come for us to bring our families together. It is time for us to reconnect and for some of us, connect for the first time. This reunion was re-established on our reunion date of July 14, 2016. We are here to continue to carry the torch and to keep our ancestors alive within us. By doing that we must pass on family heritage and traditions to our children, learn more and teach more about our history, and most of all get to know one another and honor the older ones that are still here.

For the mail, everyone should at least have theirs by next week. If any of you have questions or concerns, please contact us. We will let you know when you can go pay everything on our website... It is currently being updated.

GM Family!!!!
Some have questions about our tour so I just want to offer a bit of transparency.
We will be touring the Gullah Geechee, Porgy & Bess and also James and Johns Islands. The tour is 2.5hr long beginning at 9am. If you've been to one of our reunions before then you're familiar with how we've been doing it in the past. The bus will pick us up from the hotel for the tour.

Also, I want to encourage everyone to stay for all events, particularly our Farewell Brunch on Sunday, 11am-1pm. We had such a great time at the last reunion fellowshipping on that Sunday morning while eating a great meal. I look forward to that this time as well. The info for the brunch will be listed on the itinerary at the reunion.

We are soliciting prayers for our family members Barbera Thomas Rodriguez, the mother of @⁨Hillery⁩ and she is the daughter of Willie "Son" Thomas & Louise Thomas....she's back in the hospital in ICU but recovering. Also, please send prayers up for Sarah Frierson. She is in cardiovascular intensive care in critical condition. For those that are unsure who she is, she is the daughter of Isaiah "Bopeep" Thomas, Sr. & Mary "Lady" Thomas. Both of them are under Elsie "Gallie" line of our family.

She is the 2nd eldest daughter of the late John & Eloise Thomas and the granddaughter of the late Lela "Da" Wilson.
Keep her children Nikki and Quinn in your prayers as well as her siblings; Gloria, Molly, Debra & Junior. She will greatly be missed!!🙏🏾❤️
