🍀 Day 4 with Lucky ❤️🐴

Our little guy is settling in beautifully. He’s healthy, enjoying apple chips, and loves hanging out with me near the house. At night, he sleeps safely in his stall beside his stable mates.

The rescue Thoroughbreds are slowly accepting him, and while they’re not quite ready to be best friends, everyone is peacefully grazing side by side and taking things one day at a time.

No rush. No pressure. Just horses being horses.

All is well at Equine Energy Sanctuary & nonprofit. Thank you to everyone who has contributed. ❤️❤️❤️

HE’S HOME! ❤️🐴🍀

After traveling across the country from Kentucky in style, our sweet young Hackney pony arrived safely at Equine Energy. I cried happy tears the moment he stepped off the trailer. It was love at first sight.

His former owner loved him dearly, but dementia made it impossible to continue caring for him. We are honored to give him a safe, peaceful future surrounded by horses, Berners, and lots of love.

Thank you to everyone who sent name suggestions. We loved reading them all! After getting to know him, one name just felt right…

🍀 Meet Lucky! 🍀

Welcome home, little one. Your next chapter begins here. ❤️

Tomorrow night, our little traveler should finally be home. 🐴💙

His stall is bedded and waiting, and Stella and Baron are already keeping watch. Now all that’s left is to welcome him, get to know him, and discover the name that fits him best.

Thank you to everyone who has sent name suggestions. We have loved every one of them, and there’s still time for more!

Home is almost here. 🤍

A special little traveler is making his way from Kentucky to Equine Energy, and we can’t wait to welcome him home on June 10. 🐴💙

Sometimes the healing team needs a little joy too. 🐾☕🤎

Our Bernese Mountain Dogs take their sanctuary duties very seriously… but they also believe pup cups are an essential part of wellness.

A tiny moment of sweetness from Equine Energy today. 🌿

Meet Late Nite’s What an Impact — a beautiful Hackney pony currently in Kentucky, and hopefully making his way to Equine Energy in the next few weeks.

His story is tender. His beloved owner is suffering from dementia, and the family has had to make the very difficult decision to find safe, loving homes for him and his barn mates.

When we were offered the chance to help, we said yes with our whole hearts.

Because of the support people have already given to Equine Energy, we are able to step forward when animals need a soft landing. Every donation, share, kind word, and bit of belief in this sanctuary helps make moments like this possible.

We’ll be sharing more about him soon — including asking all of you to help us choose the name he’ll be known by here at the sanctuary.

For now, we’re just honored to be part of his next chapter. 🤎🐴

A little healing energy from the sanctuary today — Berners resting in their zen pool while the horses graze quietly in the background.

At Equine Energy, we believe calm is contagious. When animals feel safe and peaceful, people often soften too. These simple moments are the heart of what we’re building: presence, connection, and nervous systems remembering how to breathe. ❤️
