OBX Room In The Inn was established in 2009 with a mission to provide hospitality, food, clothing, and shelter to homeless adults in Dare and Currituck Counties on the Outer Banks during the winter months and support services year-round.

Our gratitude continues! Thank you for all of your support!

Because you support live music, we can give back.

Live From OBX & Big Spring Entertainment - at Roanoke Island Festival Park, helped create opportunities to raise funds for local charities and share live music with people who serve our community.
This season, that support included:

• $22K+ in charity support through direct payments and in-kind.
• Free booth space for local charities to raise additional funds.
• $10K+ in donated tickets for Dare County first responders, teachers, and hospital staff.

Recipients included Outer Banks Community Foundation, First Flight Rotary Foundation, Cross Roads OBX Association, Brothers Keeper of the Albemarle, Room in the Inn Outer Banks, Just in Case and American Legion OBX.

To our fans, sponsors, volunteers, and local partners, thank you. Your support helped make these contributions and experiences possible.

Sixteen local nonprofits dedicated to a wide range of needs and opportunities in our community, including education, healthcare, children & youth, animal welfare, the environment, the arts, and history, were recently awarded $93,691 in Community Enrichment Grants.

The Last Swell — an OBX Surf Film, Art & Music Festival — comes to Nags Head's Village Beach Club, Oct. 18. Enjoy a free day of live tunes, surf films, live surfboard shaping and art, local artists and vendors, food and drinks, and a charity raffle benefiting OBX Room In The Inn and the Croatoan Archaeological Society. 12-8pm.
