Each year, people gather at the Scajaquada Expressway pedestrian bridge (at Hoyt Lake) to honor those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks, as well as those who continue to protect and serve. Thursday, September 11th, the community is encouraged to make a pilgrimage to the bridge, to witness the remembrance that will occur between 8:30 AM and 10:15 AM. That is the time period when the four commercial airlines were hijacked and used in an attack on American soil (September 11, 2001).
