REMINDER: Vision Recovery will not meet tonight.

Enjoy Labor Day weekend, take time to rest, and stay connected. We’ll be back next Friday, September 11, at 7 PM as we begin Step 9: The Power of Grace.

A quick schedule reminder: Vision Recovery will not meet this Friday, September 4, for Labor Day weekend.

We hope everyone enjoys the extra time to rest, reconnect, and be present with the people they love.

Motivation Monday

Before your mind gets filled with everything that needs to happen this week, ask a simpler question:

What’s mine today?

You don’t have to solve every problem, control every outcome, or carry tomorrow before it gets here. You can be present, tell the truth, ask for help, keep your commitments, and faithfully handle what God has placed in front of you.

Then trust Him with the rest.

When your mind starts running ahead this week, return your attention to Christ. You may not have the whole plan, but you can take the next faithful step.

One day at a time. One step at a time. Keep going.

Tonight isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about honoring every step forward, connecting with people who understand the journey, and honestly asking:

We’re closing Step 8 with a night of food, celebration, and honest connection!

Join us this Friday for pizza at 6:30 PM, followed by our Chip Celebration and Process Night at 7 PM. We’ll celebrate every step of progress, reflect on what God has taught us about ownership, and ask one honest question:

What is mine to own?

You don’t have to have everything figured out, and you won’t be pressured to share. Come eat, connect, celebrate, and take the next faithful step with us.

Motivation Monday

Ownership opens the door to freedom.

You don’t have to spend this week hiding from what God is showing you, and you don’t have to stay stuck in regret over what you wish you had done differently.

Proverbs 28:13 reminds us that when we stop concealing, confess, and turn, we find mercy.

That means ownership is not the end of the story. Grace is still there. Mercy is still there. Change is still possible.

So start this week with courage. See the truth, own what is yours, make right what you can, and trust God to keep changing you.

One honest step can lead to real freedom.

Some apologies are spoken in a moment. Real ownership becomes visible through the way we live afterward.

Tonight, we’re getting honest about what belongs to us, how our choices affect others, and what it means to repair what we can without excuses, pressure, or performance.

Don’t let another week pass while repeating the same patterns. Get in the room and take the next faithful step with us.

We may have paused for a week, but we haven’t lost the momentum.

This Friday, we’re continuing Step 8: The Power of Ownership. We’ll look at why real amends must become more than “I’m sorry”—and how grace helps our words become responsibility, repair, and changed living.

You don’t have to be working Step 8 to receive something from this message. These are principles that can shape the way all of us live and treat the people God has placed around us.

Motivation Monday

Own today. Change forever.

You can't rewrite yesterday, but you can choose what you do with today.

Real change begins when we're willing to stop making excuses, own our part, and allow God to lead us forward. That isn't about living in regret. It's about realizing your past doesn't have to keep determining your future.

So start this week encouraged. You may not be able to change everything at once, but you can take one honest step, make one thing right, and choose a different direction.

God's grace gives us room to grow, and no faithful step forward is wasted.

Own today. Keep moving forward.
