Maybe tonight is the night you stop carrying what Jesus already paid for.

Over the last two weeks we've talked about what God reveals and what Christ has already finished on the Cross. Tonight we'll spend time discussing what it looks like to actually surrender those things to Him.

You don't have to have it all together. You don't need the right words. Just come willing.

Discussion. Prayer. Worship.

What are you still carrying?

As we continue Step 6: The Power of the Cross, we'll spend this Friday's Process Night discussing the things God has been revealing and what it looks like to surrender them to Him.

Over the last two weeks we've talked about character defects, shame, forgiveness, and the finished work of Christ. This week we'll slow down, open God's Word together, and have honest conversations about what we're still holding on to.

Freedom begins where surrender becomes honest.

Motivation Monday

Start this week forgiven.

A lot of us begin the week carrying things Jesus already paid for. Old mistakes. Old failures. Old regrets. We know God forgives, but sometimes we still act like there's a balance due.

That's why the words of Jesus matter so much:

"It is finished."

Not almost finished.
Not mostly finished.
Finished.

The debt was paid. The work was completed. The price was covered.

So as this week begins, don't start from guilt. Don't start from shame. Don't start from trying to earn what Jesus has already given.

Start this week forgiven.

Last night we continued Step 6: The Power of the Cross with a message called "It Is Finished."

Many of us know we're forgiven, but still live like debtors. We keep carrying shame, regret, and failures that Jesus already carried to the Cross.

When Jesus said, "It is finished," He meant it.

The debt was paid.
The account was settled.
The work was complete.

If you missed last night, you can watch the full message here.

Next Friday we'll have a special Process Night as we continue Step 6 together through discussion, prayer, worship, and Scripture.

Tonight we continue Step 6: The Power of the Cross.

Last week we talked about what God revealed. Tonight we'll talk about what Jesus already paid for. Many of us have confessed our sins but still live under shame. We've received forgiveness but continue carrying things Christ already settled at the Cross.

Join us tonight for "It Is Finished."

Have you ever confessed something to God but still struggled to forgive yourself?

You know God forgives. You know the Bible says you're forgiven. But somehow you still carry the weight of what happened.

This Friday we'll continue Step 6: The Power of the Cross with a message called "It Is Finished." We'll talk about shame, forgiveness, and why so many of us keep carrying things Jesus already settled at the Cross.

Motivation Monday

A new heart changes everything.

Most of us spend a lot of time trying to change our circumstances. We think if we had a different job, a different season, a different relationship, or a different situation, things would finally be different.

But what if the greatest change God wants to make isn't around you?

What if it's in you?

That's the promise of the Cross. Not behavior modification. Not trying harder. Not becoming a slightly better version of yourself.

Transformation.

God doesn't just point out what needs to change. He offers to do what we cannot do for ourselves.

So as this week begins, don't lose hope if you're still a work in progress. God is still shaping, refining, and transforming hearts.

And a new heart changes everything.

06/06/2026

Last night we began Step 6: The Power of the Cross.

We started with a difficult question:

What if the biggest thing standing between you and freedom isn't around you? What if it's inside you?

One of our key passages was Ezekiel 36:26:

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you..."

We talked about how God wants more than behavior modification. He wants heart transformation. We also looked at why God exposes what He intends to heal and how true freedom begins when we become willing for Him to do what we cannot do ourselves.

If you weren't able to join us or would like to watch again, we pray this message encourages you.

Next Friday we'll continue Step 6 with Week 2: "It Is Finished" as we look at why so many of us continue carrying things Jesus already paid for at the Cross.

Tonight we begin a brand-new step at Vision Recovery: The Power of the Cross.

Last month we brought things out of the dark. This month we're learning what to do with what God revealed. The Cross doesn't just forgive our mistakes, it transforms our hearts. If you've ever felt stuck in the same patterns, habits, or struggles, tonight is for you.

Join us for Week 1: "It's Not Just What You Did" as we begin Step 6 and discover how God wants to deal with more than our actions - He wants to change us from the inside out.

Step 5 brought things into the light.

Step 6 asks a deeper question:

What's underneath it?

It's easy to focus on behaviors. It's harder to face the pride, fear, control, selfishness, or shame driving them.

The good news is the Cross doesn't just forgive what we've done—it transforms who we're becoming.

Join us this Friday as we begin Step 6:
