Taking part in the Paxton Area Chamber of Commerce’s Oct. 29 ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the recent opening of Clove Alliance’s new office at 106 S. Market St. in the renovated historic former Paxton State Bank building are, from left: Clove Alliance board Chairman Krista Robertson, chamber board member Kennedy Glazik, Clove Alliance sexual-assault victim advocate Tammy Barragree, Clove Alliance Chief Executive Officer Tracey Noe-Slach, chamber board member Austin Curtis, chamber President Dawn Stack, chamber board member Andy Hudson, Paxton Mayor Bill Ingold and Derek Crouse of Crouse Canine. The ribbon-cutting ceremony kicked off Clove Alliance’s ‘business before hours’ and open house event on Thursday, Oct. 29. Guests were invited to tour the new space, meet Clove Alliance staff, learn about the organization’s services and enjoy coffee, breakfast refreshments and networking with community members and local partners. Clove Alliance has served Ford County since 2016 and first established an office in Paxton in 2021 as part of its commitment to ensuring survivors of sexual violence in rural communities have access to specialized services close to home.

Always growing and learning! 🌱 Thank you to Stephanie from Thresholds for joining our team for a lunch-and-learn! Stephanie also recently completed our 40-hour Crisis Intervention Training and is one of our newest volunteers! We love seeing community partnerships grow in so many ways!
