Clove Alliance's will be closed today for Juneteenth, a celebration of freedom. We are always available 24/7 on our crisis hotline: 815.932.3322.

What is Juneteenth? It celebrates the end of slavery in the US, which used horrific systematic abuses to oppress enslaved people, including sexual violence. It wasn't until 2021 that it officially became a federal holiday and one we encourage you to learn more about.

Sexual abuse can affect people of any age, including elderly people. Unfortunately, it often goes unreported due to fear, shame, isolation, cognitive impairment, or dependence on the person causing harm.

By staying connected with older loved ones, checking in regularly, and learning the warning signs of abuse, we can all help create safer communities for seniors.

If you suspect an elder is experiencing abuse, neglect, or exploitation, contact Illinois Adult Protective Services at 1-866-800-1409.

What an incredible Sunday at Heroes, Hogs & Hot Rods! 🏍️🚗🇺🇸

Clove Alliance was thrilled to be part of this amazing community event hosted by Project Headspace and Timing. We loved spending time with attendees, connecting with community members, and celebrating alongside so many organizations and supporters who are making a difference.

Events like these remind us why community matters. Whether it's sharing resources, building relationships, or simply enjoying a great day together, we're always grateful for opportunities to show up, engage, and support the people we serve.
