Instead of starting over, an existing building was given new life and transformed into a highly energy-efficient space, keeping a piece of Kane’s past while preparing it for the future.

🪟 That’s a lot of glass to clean!

The windows & curtain wall at Six and Kane are getting a much-needed cleaning today & around here, all that glass does more than provide a great view.

Our high-performance windows and curtain wall are an important part of Six&Kane’s Passive House design, bringing abundant daylight into the building while helping create a highly efficient building envelope.

A big thank you to Clean Lane Property Services LLC for tackling all that glass & keeping one of our most noticeable building features looking its best! ✨

We’re excited to announce that West Penn Energy Fund awarded Northern Pennsylvania Regional College a $60,000 grant for an Energizing Community Education Project.

The grant will expand NPRC’s virtual and augmented reality programming across our region and support the development of immersive energy efficiency learning experiences at Six and Kane, which will serve as the pilot location.

Last week, we welcomed First Lady Lori Shapiro to Six and Kane.

It was a pleasure to share the story of our building transitioning from a vacant property to a high-performance community space & discuss how projects like this can help strengthen rural communities.
