Class of 2020 Families! Please see the information below regarding a couple of ways to show support for KAHS seniors.

If you purchased a yard sign to honor your graduate we have the perfect spot for you to display it! Since these classmates can't get together to celebrate, we wanted to celebrate all of them together in one place! Please feel free to add your sign to the yard uptown by Kane's only traffic light. So, from now until graduation we can all take walks to look at the signs at a responsible social distance, as well as the seniors' displays in the windows uptown. We would love to have every senior proudly represented in uptown Kane for all to see! Please join in and spread the word!

Hello Senior Class of 2020 parents, guardians, and supporters! I have been communicating with the local businesses uptown and so many have been super accommodating in offering their window space facing out on Fraley Street and Field Street to celebrate and recognize this graduating class.

For instance, Michelle Palmer at the Kane Area Community Center has 6 of her 9 window panels available, would you like to claim one or split one with a friend to decorate for your senior? Pictures, posters, ribbons, paw prints- get creative with it, as long as you don’t do any damage please 😊

I reached out to the KAHS Senior Spotlight page and have a list of the students. We will have spaces available for all who are interested in this (one window or portion of a window per student please). With businesses opening up shortly, and these kids missing out on so much, they could be celebrated every time someone comes uptown for a walk, errand, or meal, and it could be really special. (Following the recommended social distancing guidelines of course)
