Blue Dragon Tavern & Cosmic Musiquarium is Hawaii Island’s premiere live music and entertainment venue, featuring Hawaii Island’s top talent as well as national and international touring acts. We are open for shows Thursday thru Sunday, and Open Mic & Karaoke Night on the first Monday of every month. We have a full craft bar with a wide selection of local brews, accompanied by a rotating dinner menu.

The Sunday evening after HSF, the Blue Dragon opens its doors to the HSF community for a final night of collaboration and creativity. This casual open mic jam sesh dance party has become a tradition and is a perfect way to decompress and spend one more night together before everyone goes their separate ways after the conference. Mahalo Delphina and Blue Dragon team for holding space for us!

Lucky Tree Productions is a Waimea-based video production company that has a growing portfolio of community-centered film projects and commercial work. The company is owned and operated by Adam Palya, the “first husband” of HSF (his wife, Julia, is the HSF President!)  You may also recognize him from his hit show Haole Do It, streaming on Kahilu.TV.

For many years, Lucky Tree Productions has provided media services to HSF, creating ads, commercials, social media posts, and more. This year, for the first time, Lucky Tree will oversee the video recording of panels and workshops at the conference, so attendees won’t miss out when there are scheduling conflicts. And, most importantly - yes, Adam will emcee the HSF Concert again this year!

Founded in 1977 on the principle of bridging the gap between “the street and the elite,” Music Connection has grown from a popular print publication into a spectrum of products and services that address the wants and needs of musicians, the music tech community and industry support services.

Music Connection supported HSF this year by providing free advertisement opportunities. Mahalo Music Connection for helping us spread the word!

Sync Beast is a music licensing coaching platform and educational brand that helps independent songwriters and music producers prepare their tracks for TV, film, and commercial advertisements.

Sync Beast has been an HSF sponsor for many years. In 2026, although Sync Beast reps unfortunately could not attend, the company has still provided a sponsorship that contributed to HSF’s scholarship fund and other operating expenses.  Mahalo, Grif and Graham, for your support!

The Recording Academy’s (the GRAMMYS) mission is to uplift and protect music creators everywhere. We champion artistic excellence, advocate for creative rights, and build opportunities for those shaping the sound of today and tomorrow. Through community, education, and recognition, we strengthen the future of music. The Pacific Northwest Chapter reflects the independent and DIY ethos of this region’s music makers. The Chapter is based in Seattle, WA and covers Hawai’i as well as Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, and parts of Western Canada.

The Recording Academy, Pacific Northwest Chapter, is a great resource for music industry education and networking.  HSF has been lucky to have their support for many years, and we are grateful to welcome them back again in 2026!

The MLC is a nonprofit organization specifically created to fulfill the role of the mechanical licensing collective under the Music Modernization Act of 2018 (MMA). The MLC is the product of collaboration by a broad coalition of songwriters and music publishers and their trade organizations who came together to create an entity that is uniquely situated to fulfill the vision of the MMA and to solve the challenges of mechanical licensing in the digital space. The MLC administers blanket mechanical licenses for eligible streaming and download services in the United States, collecting royalties due under those licenses and paying self-administered songwriters, composers, and lyricists; music publishers and administrators; and collective management organizations.

For several years now, the MLC’s representative Jamie Dominguez has been a mentor at HSF to help attendees learn how to properly register and maintain their catalog with the MLC. Given the MLC’s important role in the music industry, this support and education is crucial.  Mahalo MLC!
