The next meeting regarding the community center’s intent to be a American Red Cross emergency shelter will be on

Wednesday , June 24 at 4:00 pm

The planning committee HAS DEFINED THEIR SCOPE: support services will be offered when 10 or more households experience a power outage for 6 or more hours. A warm/cool place of shelter will be offered, as well as charging stations, shower facilities and minor first aid.

At the June 24 meeting, volunteer schedules will be completed and more planning details defined. Please plan to attend or contact the community center for more information.

⛑️ Located in the center of Manistee County, Maple Grove Township Community Center is geographically well situated to be an emergency shelter. The center has on-site showers and a commercial kitchen equipped to provide meals.
