We're thrilled to have completed another successful SMART Board training with Educators of America in the beautiful Kwajalein Atoll! A huge thank you to the incredible Hawaii teachers, Isabella Ochoa & Alicia Hicks, who volunteered their time and expertise to support this initiative. Your dedication to empowering students through technology is inspiring. 🙌

We are also deeply grateful to the Marshallese Ministry of Education for inviting us to be a part of this journey. It’s been an honor to work alongside such passionate educators and we are hopeful that the skills and tools gained through this training will continue to uplift both teachers and students for years to come.

We look forward to returning and supporting the amazing work being done here in any way we can. 🌍💡📚

There is nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer. Later this week our Building Hope mission returns to the Republic of the Marshall Islands. Isabella, Student Services Coordinator from Kealakehe Intermediate and Alicia, 5th grade teacher at Waikoloa School will join our very own Justin and Mike for a mission to build EdTech capacity for Marshallese teachers on Ebeye in the Kwajalein Atoll.

Isabella and Alicia will also be spending time with Marshallese leaders and teachers to gain understandings of how schools in Hawaii can better serve their Marshallese and Micronesian populations.

We are honored to be part of this mission. Thank you Isabella and Alicia for joining us and volunteering to help lift up and empower our neighbors in the pacific.

Last month our board voted unanimously to add our 6th member, Justin Potter. Based in Hawaii, Justin has served our mission with dedication and passion in the Marshall Islands, Namibia, Hawaii, and many US states by facilitating trainings, volunteering at events, building confidence in students and teachers, and much more! Thank you Justin… we can’t wait to see what you do next!
