The wiliwili tree. Beautiful with its reddish, knarled bark and branches. It is endemic to Hawaii but was almost wiped out ten or so years ago. It is making a comeback. The early Hawaiians used the wood to make canoes because it was hardy yet lightweight. There are a couple of butterfly fish named after this tree. Not sure I see a resemblance.
The first fish is the Lau wililil nuku nuku `oi `oi, and the second is the Lau wiliwili.
