🌴 Did you know this little slice of paradise is right here in Palm Beach County?

John D. MacArthur Beach State Park offers a beautiful stretch of natural coastline, mangrove trails, snorkeling, kayaking and plenty of opportunities to spot local wildlife. 🌊🐢

Getting to the beach is part of the adventure — you’ll cross a long wooden boardwalk over the mangroves, or you can hop on the free tram.

A few highlights:
🌊 Natural beach with reef access
🚣 Kayak, paddleboard & snorkel rentals
🌿 Mangrove trails and boardwalks
🐢 Nature center with exhibits and live animals
🏝️ Kayak over to Munyon Island for a picnic or wildlife watching

🐾 **Happy National Dog Day!** 🐾

In case you missed it, the story of the **Ridglan beagles** was recently featured nationwide on **CBS Mornings**, bringing even more attention to these dogs and the rescue effort that has given them a chance at a new life. ❤️🐶

Their story is a powerful reminder of just how much a second chance can mean.

Whatever Floats Your Boat is BACK! 🚤😂

One of Jupiter’s most ridiculous Labor Day Weekend traditions returns to Guanabanas on Saturday, September 5th.

The challenge? Build the weirdest, funniest, most creative floating contraption you can come up with — then see if it can actually make it across the course.

Pool noodles, coolers, PVC, barrels, old paddleboards… if it floats, bring it. If it almost floats, bring it anyway. 😆

Meet Harry DuBois — one of the most interesting men to ever call Jupiter home. 🍍🐝🌊

He rescued shipwreck survivors near the Jupiter Inlet, kept 600 beehives, farmed pineapples along the Loxahatchee, and in 1898 built his family home right on top of an ancient Jeaga shell mound.

That home is still standing today at DuBois Park and is considered the second-oldest surviving home in Palm Beach County.

One Jupiter man really did do it all.
