At 87 years young, our dear friend Jim continues to prove that age is only a number and determination knows no limits.

The morning Harry ran into Jim after their bike ride, doing what he does best: putting in the miles. Our longtime friend and proud member of the Shifting Gears United family, Jim rides 18–30 miles every single day, inspiring everyone around him with his strength, discipline, and unwavering passion for life. Harry’s still out there everyday putting in 20 miles never taking a day off.

Jim carries more than years—he carries a lifetime of knowledge, wisdom, stories, and inspiration. Every mile he rides is a powerful reminder that movement, purpose, and joy can keep our spirits young.

We are filled with admiration and gratitude to call Jim part of our family. Thank you, Jim, for showing us what perseverance looks like and for reminding us that the road ahead is always worth traveling.

Keep riding, Jim. You are an inspiration to us all! 🚴‍♂️💙

Day 1 of the Abilities Expo Orlando was an incredible success!

It was a true privilege for Shifting Gears United to represent Move United Sport. We’re deeply grateful to Shaun and the entire Move United team for trusting us to serve as hosts for our friends, partners, and community.

The venue was packed, and congratulations to the Abilities Expo team on another phenomenal show! It was wonderful reconnecting with old friends and meeting so many inspiring new ones.

Today, our warfighter veterans enjoyed a memorable day on the water, kayaking, paddleboarding, and exploring our marine sanctuary through an exclusive eco-tour.

Being on the water offers a sense of freedom, peace, and healing. For many veterans, time spent paddling provides an opportunity to reconnect with nature, clear the mind, and support mental health and overall wellness.

We are honored to create experiences that bring joy, relaxation, and connection to those who have served. It was wonderful to see how much our veterans loved being out on the water!

What an incredible morning kayaking on the Loxahatchee River with Jupiter Outdoor Center!

Our Shifting Gears United team enjoyed beautiful natural scenery, meaningful teamwork, and plenty of fun on the water. The king tide and strong currents made the experience challenging—but also incredibly rewarding.

This wellness outing supports the health, confidence, and connection of our veterans and individuals with varying disabilities. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this morning so special.
