Neighbors in Need NEA Hosts 5th Annual Community Picnic to Support Food-Insecure Families
Jonesboro, AR — Neighbors in Need NEA is proud to announce its 5th Annual Community Picnic, a free event dedicated to supporting individuals and families experiencing food insecurity throughout Northeast Arkansas.
Community members are invited to enjoy a fresh, hot BBQ dinner served at no cost, connect with valuable local resources, and spend an afternoon of fun, fellowship, and community support. Families can enjoy activities for children, while DJ CC Productions provides music and entertainment throughout the event.
In addition to enjoying a meal on-site, guests will have the opportunity to “Eat a Plate and Take a Plate”, helping ensure that families have food to take home as well.
The mission of the Community Picnic is simple: offer a hand up to those facing food insecurity while bringing the community together in a welcoming and dignified environment. While the event is focused on helping those in need, everyone is welcome, and no one will be turned away.
