Whether you’re brand new to aerial silks or looking to grow your skills, this is a unique opportunity to learn from a performer whose career has taken her across the U.S., Asia, and the Caribbean.

Hannah Risner is a professional aerial artist and dancer who has performed at renowned venues including House of Yes, The Slipper Room, and The Borgata Hotel & Casino. She also appeared in The Greatest Showman as part of the stunt team. With a background in dance performance and years of international aerial experience, Hannah brings creativity, strength, artistry, and encouragement to every class.

Our Smart Start students spend the entire year creating original art pieces for the Art Gallery held after the end of year Celebration. Jamestown, Kentucky is home to one of the most state-of-the-art Aerial Arts studios in the region and in just 2 weeks, we are bringing in internationally recognized aerial artist Hannah Risner for an exclusive 3-day training experience.

Hannah has performed professionally since 2012 and has appeared internationally across the United States, Asia, and the Caribbean. Her performance and stunt credits include work on The Greatest Showman, along with performances at major NYC venues including House of Yes, Webster Hall, and The Slipper Room.

Now, students right here in our own community have the rare opportunity to train with an artist working at the professional international level.

Whether you or your child are experienced aerialists or simply looking to grow artistically and athletically, this workshop weekend will offer high-level instruction, creativity, technique development, and inspiration.

Get ready for the messiest, most colorful adventure of the summer with Ms. Maleena and Ms. Shayla at the ArtWorks Outdoor Art Experience!

Kids ages 6–12 are invited to explore, create, experiment, and make a GLORIOUS mess during this exciting outdoor art event filled with hands-on creativity and sensory fun!

Young artists will rotate through amazing creative stations including:
•Water Balloon Wall Art
•Pendulum Painting
•Cardboard Texture Boards
•Graffiti-Style Spray Art
•An Art-Themed Mud Kitchen full of scooping, splashing, mixing, and imaginative play!

This fun-filled 2-hour open studio encourages imagination, confidence, sensory exploration, and process-based art in a relaxed outdoor setting where kids can freely create and express themselves.
