We’re excited to announce the upcoming BIG’N Outdoors TBF Student Angler Trail for Middle School and High School anglers!

There is NO drop tournament — every event counts!

📅 2026–2027 SCHEDULE

9/27/26 – Hartwell / Gum Branch — Combined with SC TBF
11/8/26 – Hartwell / Gum Branch
12/13/26 – Lake Russell — Combined with SC Bass Nation
1/10/27 – Hartwell / Gum Branch
2/14/27 – Clarks Hill / Dorn — Combined with SC TBF

💰 $60 Entry Fee per Team
🏆 1 in 6 Payback — Up to 5 Places
🎣 High School — 5 Fish Limit
🎣 Middle School — 3 Fish Limit

⚠️ All anglers MUST have a VALID TBF Membership Number.

ADDITIONAL RULES

• Must have 3 people in the boat
• No substitute anglers during the regular season
• Dead fish penalty: ½ lb

Alright everyone, it’s that time of year. If you’re interested in joining the Madison county fishing team, middle and high school, the information meeting will be Wednesday August 26th at the high school media center at 6pm. We look forward to seeing you all there!

What a great time for all the anglers at the Colbert 4th of July parade to celebrate 250th!!! This is the second year in a row to be in the parade and all the anglers really look forward to it every year now. The guys represented the team and our sponsors well. Thanks to all involved to make it happen for our team!

Lake Cumberland was a blast! These boys battled all the way to the end. This was a brand new lake for them and they were determined to not let it beat them. They fought through ups and downs all week long. It took every day to try new lures and new techniques to bring in some fish. Weigh in was a little different than what we were used to. Riley and Brady weighed in 2 of their fish caught each day at the lake and then made a short drive to the fairgrounds to weigh in their final fish for the crowd that was waiting. They didn’t make it to the championship round on Saturday and that’s okay. They fished against top anglers from all over the nation and finished 54th out of 180 teams that weighed in for that last chance to make it to the finals. They represented Madison County well and were glad to make it home!

Day 3 and these boys are back at it. This lake has been tough to fish but Riley and Brady are resilient and were ready to tackle another day. They finished 60th out of over 230 teams that qualified for the national championship. They will fish today in the second chance round to try and make it to the finals tomorrow. Good luck guys! Fish hard and have fun!

Congratulations to Riley Haney and Brady Garrison on making it to the MLF Nationals Championship. They have been in Kentucky this week, practicing and gearing up for this 4-Day tournament. Today is Day 1 and it has started out to be a beautiful day! Good luck guys, let’s bring in some fish!
