This morning is filled with vet visits, and frustration.
Sprout, our botfly kitten now has a different infection that we are at the vet for.
Rhody- our newest puppy who just came in an hour ago, covered in mange. Also at the vet.
Jackie- the puppy we saved from a critical hookworm infestation just two weeks ago, sits in a kennel, waiting and hoping for a foster to come get her!
Duke and Dutchess- not pictured but Duke passed away after 2 days in the hospital battling parvo. His sister Dutchess is still hanging on and we’re crossing our fingers she’ll be making some improvements on the next day.
We are talking a total of around $5,000 for all of these animals combined. Thankfully, we did raised enough for Jackie. However, donations are not coming in at a steady rate, not a single person has offered to foster and followed through with it over the past few weeks, every kennel we own is full, and adoptions have drastically slowed down. You know what hasn’t slowed down? Phone calls, intake requests, people showing up at our gate demanding help.
Please message us if you can help us clear some room through fostering or adopting! And no, we don’t have any small dogs unless you’re ok with a puppy.
