🐣 Day 21: HATCH DAY IS HERE! 🥚

After 21 days of patience, learning, and watching our eggs grow, the moment we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived!

Our chicks have officially started pipping—making their very first cracks in the shell using a tiny bump on their beak called an egg tooth. From here, they’ll slowly work their way out when they’re ready.

Now all we can do is watch, wait, and let nature take its course. 🐥

18 eggs started this journey…

How many chicks do you think will hatch? 👀⬇️

POV: You tell a Junior Counselor, “Watch this Facebook Reel, recreate the craft with the campers, and make it happen.” 🎨👏 …and here’s what he sends back to you. 😂

🐣 Day 19 of 21: LOCKDOWN MODE 🔒🥚

After 18 days of turning our eggs just like a mother hen would, we officially entered the final stage before hatch day!

We removed the egg turner, raised the humidity, and let our chicks get into position to hatch. 🐥

Now we wait… 👀

🤠🔧 What an incredible time we had exploring the world of skilled trades and career opportunities today!
Our students had the chance to experience hands-on learning through interactive career simulators, and they were absolutely exceptional. From operating heavy equipment to exploring careers in construction, robotics, and other skilled professions, the experience brought future career possibilities to life in an exciting and engaging way.
A huge thank you to the WareWorks Mobile Learning Lab for inspiring our middle and high school students to dream big, build skills, and discover the many rewarding pathways available in the skilled trades.
The future is bright, and today’s experience reminded us that success comes in many forms! 🚜⚙️🦺✨

🤖🔧 Today our middle and high school students are heading to the WareWorks Mobile Learning Lab for an exciting hands-on career exploration experience!

Students will have the opportunity to explore careers in the skilled trades, robotics, and advanced manufacturing through interactive demonstrations and engaging activities. This is a great chance for our youth to discover new career pathways, build valuable skills, and be inspired by the possibilities that await them.

We’re excited to partner in experiences that expose our students to real-world opportunities and prepare them for future success. Thank You Police Athletic League (P.A.L)Monument for the opportunity.

Stay tuned for photos and highlights from today’s adventure!

We asked our kindergarteners one simple question… ‘What sound does a firework make?’ 🎆
