Harvey – Stanford “Stan” David Harvey, age 77, of Macclenny, Florida passed away on February 25, 2025, at Pam Health Specialty Hospital of Jacksonville. Stan was born in Limestone, Maine on September 29, 1947, to the late Mahlon Clifford Harvey and Sarah Butler Harvey. He was raised in Maine and attended Limestone High School. Shortly after school, Stan enlisted in the United States Navy in August of 1967, where he served with distinction over the course of two and a half decades. Throughout his career, Stan was an Engineman, who took great pride in his profession showing great leadership, and commitment to duty. Stan was stationed in Scotland where he met the love of his life and forever companion, Pauline McCluskey, who he happily married on April 11, 1970. Together they traveled to Maine, Virigina, Scotland, Pensacola, Florida, Mayport, Florida, and his last assignment was in Cecil Field. In 1982, Stan and Pauline made Baker County their forever home. Throughout his military career, Stan formed many lifelong friendships with his fellow sailors. In addition to his military service, Stan was a proud member of the Dawkins Masonic Lodge 60 of Sanderson. He loved being in the brotherhood and was thankful to gain numerous Masonic brothers. Following his honorable discharge from the Navy in June of 1992, Stan embarked on his next journey, serving as a Corrections Officer at Florida State Prison for 15 years. When not working, Stan enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, woodworking, and was a collector and any and everything. Most of all, Stan was a family man who found greatest joy by spending time with his family, friends, and Masonic brothers. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Stan was preceded in death by his parents.

Stan is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Pauline Harvey of Macclenny, FL; daughters, Nicole “Nikki” (Ronald) Serrano of Jacksonville, FL, Heather Harvey of Interlachen, FL, and Jennifer Harvey Barker of Green Cove Springs, FL; brothers, Jeffery (Carol) Harvey and Bruce (Jane) Harvey both of Maine; sisters, Jacqueline (John) Irovando and Joyce (James) both of Maine; grandchildren, Kyle Kirby, Cameron Kirby, Kaitlyn Godbold, Kristen Alexander, Matthew Harvey, and Cordelia Harvey; along with many extended family members and friends.
