We are in the process of expanding our LOSS Program (Local outreach for su***de survivers) what is a loss team? When a su***de is completed in Dickinson or Iron County a trained team is sent to be with the family, to offer support during this difficult time, a folder of resources is left with the family. The LOSS team offers financial support for, funeral expenses, hazmat cleanup if needed, Grief Breavement and counseling. The team stays in contact with these families for 2 years or as long as family needs support. Funding is always an obstacle and these services are very costly. We work with The lemonade stand and 6 feet over to assist with funds as what we have is minimal. We are looking for someone to organize or help organize a funding campaign. Please reach out to Tracy Johnson @ 906-458-2627 [email protected] we need your help.

PROM DRESS SWAP IS ALMOST HERE!

Mark your calendars! This event allows teens to choose a dress and accessories free of charge! ALL of our branches are now accepting donations of clean and gently used dresses, ties, shoes, and accessories. This wouldn't be possible without the Friends of the Library and generous donations from our community. Thank you!
