Dickinson County 100+ Women Who Care

The group will select a local charity and give a $10,000 (or more) gift! We are looking for One Hundred+ “WOMEN WHO CARE” … Will you be one of them? Together, 100 or more women in our community can significantly impact the many local organizations and agencies devoted to improving lives. What is 100+ Women Who Care? d an alliance of women with the intent to streamline fundraising help for local agencies. Since 2006, the original group of 117 women has grown to 245 women and has distributed over $200,000 to organizations and agencies in the Jackson area. The concept has been so effective that other communities have formed similar groups… We have started one in Dickinson County. COMMIT :: Join 100 or more local women (individually or as a team) and commit to give $100 at each of the four quarterly meetings held during the year. CONVENE :: Meet once per quarter and learn about local causes that need support. Members bring causes they want to support. Three causes will be selected to make a five-minute pitch. CHOOSE :: Following the pitches, vote on the cause that speaks to you. The one with the most votes will receive all the donations from you and your fellow women - a $10,000 gift! CHECK OUT :: Within just one hour of arriving, you'll write your $100 check to the selected cause... and go home knowing you've made a big difference to a local charity.
