We work for local businesses and focus on community betterment, business development, economic development, and workforce development in Indianola. It is our priority to serve as an advocate and promotor of our membership base and encourage our membership to leverage the Chamber's

What we share:
- Chamber events, activities, programs, and news.
- Education and business content as deemed appropriate and relevant*
- Member success stories*, such as recognitions earned, awards received, professional promotions, major accomplishments, grand openings, relocations, major expansions, or other news as determined by the site administrator
- Community events, activities, programs, and news conducted by members and supporting community organizations*
* Responsibility of member to make sharing requests to Chamber for consideration
What we don't share (with exceptions)
- Non-member events or news
- Store sales/promotions
- Non-venue, entertainment bar or restaurant events
- Political fundraisers
- Other not-for-profit fundraising campaigns
- Events outside of Indianola that do not have community benefit
- Other events deemed not relevant to Chamber of Commerce member interests
Indianola Chamber Civility Policy
Indianola Chamber has a policy of promoting professionalism and civility in all of our social media accounts, including commenting. We believe that everyone has the right to be heard and respected, and we encourage all page visitors to express their opinions and concerns in a constructive manner. Any activity or behavior that is disruptive or disrespectful will be in violation of this policy and the the Chamber may take any corrective measures it deems necessary. The Indianola Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to:
• Monitor and control, at its discretion, its brand identity online as well as offline
• Remove comments and/or block users should any conversation become adversarial or
antagonistic
• Revoke administrative privileges of anyone not in compliance with its social media policies
• Terminate non-compliant social media accounts
• Modify this policy at any time
This policy applies to any and all social media accounts that pertain to the Chamber or its committees.
