🥕 NOTHING GOES TO WASTE IF WE CAN HELP IT.

Before fresh produce reaches our neighbors at the 30th Street Food Pantry, volunteers carefully inspect and sort it to make sure we’re offering food we would be proud to take home ourselves.

And when produce isn’t suitable for distribution, it doesn’t have to go to waste. Through a local partnership, it can be redirected to nourish animals on a farm instead. ♻️

Grocery bags packed. Fresh food shared. Neighbors welcomed. 💙
Volunteers from Saint Matthew Catholic Church and School, Indianapolis brought wonderful energy to our 30th St. Food Pantry, packing grocery bags for home deliveries and serving fresh food on our distribution line.

With every bag and every warm smile, they put their faith into action—helping our neighbors receive food with kindness and care. Thank you, St. Matthew Conference, for sharing your time and your spirit of service! 👏

“Together We Serve.” Catherine has helped bring those words to life at our 30th St. Food Pantry. 🎨💙 For her Girl Scout Gold Award project, this local student created a colorful mural celebrating helping hands, shared meals and love for our neighbors. Along the way, she rallied friends and family—including her mom—to help bring her vision to life.

Her project reflects the heart of why we serve: neighbors coming together to care for one another.
Thank you, Catherine, and everyone who helped create this beautiful gift. It will brighten our pantry and welcome neighbors for years to come! Please join us in thanking Catherine for sharing her time, talent and heart! 👏

Danita says CLF helped her learn to navigate and negotiate more clearly, while recognizing the hidden rules and language that can shape everyday life. Since graduation, she has continued her spiritual journey, cared for her physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, and served her family and community.

Her next goals? Earn her degree, and continue strengthening her ministry at church. 🙌

💙 MEET ALLY.

A Marian University Indianapolis biology pre-med student, Ally has been helping prepare clothing for our Mission 27 Resale stores at the Distribution Center. 👕

She may have started volunteering as part of a service-hour requirement, but for Ally the experience is about much more: “SVdP is a great way to spend my time and talents to serve the community and help those in need.”

The BluPrint team recently came together to make a difference at the Society of St Vincent de Paul Indianapolis Council Food Pantry, and what a day it was! 💙 With 1,030 families served—a new Tuesday record—our efforts truly made an impact.

From organizing fresh produce to helping families leave with full carts and even fuller hearts, we’re proud to be part of such a meaningful cause. Giving back to our community isn’t just something we do; it’s who we are. 💪✨

A New Green Bag, a Familiar Spirit of Generosity
