Our PK friends had a great time with the light table that our PK teachers received from the Idalou Education Foundation. They wrote a grant for two tables and were awarded their grant in August.

Join us THIS Saturday for the Idalou All-Alumni Reunion, alongside Cotton Fest! 🐾💚 This special event welcomes all Wildcats, friends, and family to celebrate the traditions and memories that make Idalou unique.

✨ Event Highlights:
📍 10am – “Watching Post” at 806 Frontage Rd. to enjoy the parade
📍 2pm – School Tours at the Ag Building (411 Walnut St.)
📍 5–7pm – Alumni Gathering & Shrimp Boil at Idalou Harvest Company (12206 US 62 E)

✅ Attendance is FREE, but registration is requested to help us plan for food & space.
💛 Donations to the Idalou Education Foundation are welcome to keep the tradition of excellence alive.

You might be wondering what to wear to this years gala? Let us help!

This year’s theme is Sunset Serenade — think vintage cowboy meets upscale western charm. We’re blending rustic romance with timeless style, so dress to impress with a western twist! 🌅🎶

👗 For the Ladies:
Pull out your prairie glam! Think flowy dresses with lace or ruffles, vintage-inspired florals, or even a sleek western-style gown. Pair it with cowboy boots, statement turquoise or silver jewelry, and soft waves or a braided hairstyle. Hats are welcome — especially if they’re fabulous.

🤠 For the Gents:
A classic button-down or denim shirt with a tailored blazer or western-style jacket is perfect. Dark jeans or slacks work great — just keep it polished. Cowboy boots, bolo ties, and hats are all fair game (and encouraged)!
