Today, we stopped in at Buffalo Wild Wings to grab a quick pic with Cliff…and once again are truly humbled 🙏🏻 by the wonderful support of YOU, our community! 🙌🏻

A little background here…last October, BWW held a fundraiser with Meghan’s Place 🦩as the recipient…and YOU, our local friends, donated an incredible $3000!! 😊 At the conclusion of the month-long event, organizer Jen McCabe informed me that she had nominated us to receive a $10,000 grant…😲 which was approved! Absolutely amazing! 🩷

These funds have been used this past summer to support our local youth and young adult activities, are currently being used to support our upcoming pickleball 🏓 tournament, and will be invested in the future of Meghan’s Place. 🦩 THANK YOU, everyone!! 🙏🏻

Also…this week there was dancing 💃 in the grocery store, some tomato 🍅 harvesting (Meghan’s Place garden is still producing!), and a little impromptu swimming 🏊‍♀️ …what a great week! Blessings to you all, enjoy your weekend! 😊

We wrapped up our summer clubs and camps this week! Such a FUN season with our friends! Thank you to EVERYONE who has played a role (donating, volunteering, cheering us on!) in supporting and providing opportunities for our club members and families. We are blessed indeed 🙏🏻🩷

…here is an “attempt” at summarizing this past week!…so much fun!…August Art Club- Tuesday: creating very cool “sensory/calming jars” 😊 (thank you, Mona Dinning for the awesome project!!), and Thursday: creating beautiful, colorful, healthy “art” with our vegetables 🥕 and fruits 🍓 (and then eating it, of course!!), Dance 🕺 Club (final meeting…surprise new, SUPER FUN club of the summer!), a visit with our friend ⛳️ Tom Parsons 😃 to say THANK YOU!, Friday painting 🖌️ and time with the horses 🐎 …it was another GREAT week! Have a wonderful weekend, Friends!

Our first week of August was outstanding!… from Sports Club golfing 🏌️(thank you, so very much, Tom Parsons for ALL you do for us!), to swimming 🏊 with our friends at the aquatic center, to our August Pickleball camp (thank you, again, Linda, and friends, you are awesome!) to harvesting some beautiful produce 🍅 🍆 from our Meghan’s Place gardens… 🪴 

A big Thank You!! to Special Olympics Minnesota for sponsoring our “Fit 5 program!” 💪🏻 The materials and financial support made for a great way to encourage healthy exercise, nutrition, and hydration… our athletes learned a lot, and hopefully will practice these new skills in the weeks and months to come! 

We also made time to make a beautiful blessing blanket for a dear friend’s family member. 🙏🏻❤️ Have a wonderful weekend, friends!
