Gathering For Wholeness

Gathering For Wholeness We are Making Disciples, Celebrating Diversity, and Moving for Wholeness. Gathering For Wholeness is a growing integral faith community.

We practice an open door and open table, where everyone can find belonging. We enter the dialogue of spirituality as a progressive Disciples of Christ community. Opportunities to engage with us include:
Spirit Fit: (exercise/mindfulness meditations) Wednesdays 6:30 pm at Dapper 2.0 (364 E Pipeline)

Book Club: meets monthly on the third Thursday of each month at 12:30 pm Dapper 2.0. Bring your own

lunch until the Cafe opens. Outreach Gathering: We dedicate the first Sunday of the month to serving the community. We have a brief meditation with the practice of communion prior to doing works of wholeness in the community. Feast Gatherings: We have a meal together on the second and fourth Sunday gatherings (10:30 am), as we explore with wonder the divinity in life.

Prayer request. David is having dental surgery today, and my nephew John Souther is on a mission trip to Cambodia. Fighting has broken out on Thailand border. They have been moved to Vietnam. Requesting prayers for all.

On this day, July 3, 1955 Hurst Christian Church held its first worship service. On August 24, 2025, 10:30am-2pm, Gathering for Wholeness will hold its final worship service by celebrating 70 years' ministry to the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area. Please join with us in celebrating the thousands of people who were served by this ministry and the thousands of people who served in this ministry.
