THINK ABOUT IT

Few roads are as lonely as the caregiver's. Long hours in a sickroom keep you from friends. A quiet helplessness creeps in when it seems no one truly grasps what you're carrying. And as the one you love slips further into illness, a strange sense of being left behind can settle over you.

When those feelings press close, meet them with God's promise rather than your own willpower. He has vowed never to leave you—and He sent His Spirit, the Comforter, to stay near every hour of the day and night. So in those sleepless early-morning stretches, you can simply whisper Jesus' name. He understands. His friendship never fails, and nothing can separate you from your Father. You need no perfect words or special place to reach Him. He is already at the door. Look up, and welcome Him in today.
