Every child deserves a safe place to call home, someone to cheer them on, and the opportunity to simply be a kid.

This Foster Friday, we want to say thank you to every foster, kinship, and adoptive family who opens their hearts and homes to children in need. Your love, patience, and faith are changing lives in ways that will last for generations.

If you’ve ever wondered whether fostering is right for your family, take the first step by learning more. You don’t have to have all the answers—you simply need a willing heart. One caring adult can make an incredible difference in the life of a child.

Please join us in praying for children in foster care, the families caring for them, and those who are considering saying “yes” to this calling.

Think of Us is inviting eligible Texas Kinship Caregivers to apply for a chance to receive a one-time $500 cash grant.

The application will be open from June 16, 2026 through July 16, 2026. Please note that the deadline may be extended if additional applications are needed.

Applicants are eligible if (1) they currently live in Texas and (2) they are Kinship Caregivers with a child or children in their care who are under the age of 18 and are not their biological child or children.

In addition to the opportunity to receive a cash grant, applicants will be invited to share their experiences and insights to help improve the Kinship Care experience, services, and policies across Texas.

Who can apply: Kinship Caregivers currently living in Texas

Application deadline: July 16, 2026
Deadline note: The deadline may be extended if additional applications are needed.

Psalm 91 Fosters is looking for licensed hairstylists and barbers willing to donate their time during our Back-to-School Event, August 1–8.

A simple haircut can make a huge difference in a child’s confidence as they head back to school. We want every child we serve to feel proud, confident, and ready for a successful school year.
