We had several pets come in recently with - out of date owner information on the microchip. Or no information on the microchip. We spend hours, sometimes days, trying to locate the facility that implanted that microchip. We often have to reach out to some of our other sources to track it for us.
Please!!! If you have moved, changed your phone number, rehomed a pet, make sure that information is updated with the microchip company. It helps the pets get back to their people days earlier. And sometimes even saves their life.
