Last week, Mayor Elkins had the honor of presenting Habitat for Humanity of Dubois County with a proclamation recognizing May 2026 as Affordable Housing Month. This proclamation highlights the importance of safe, stable, and affordable housing and recognizes the continued efforts of organizations throughout Dubois County working to strengthen our communities through housing opportunities.

We thank Habitat for Humanity of Dubois County and all local partners dedicated to making affordable housing a priority for families in our community.
