Name: Riley Fleetwood

Position: Board Member

Hometown: Jasper, IN📍

Occupation: I have been with the Huntingburg Police Department since June 2022 as a patrol officer. My goals within the department are to become an SRO (School Resource Officer).

Family: My wife’s name is Lauren, and my son’s name is Ridge. In 2024 we took guardianship of my wife’s sister Payton who is like a daughter to me. Also we have two wiener dogs Gus and Poppy and a cat named T**i.

Why did you join the Differently Able, Inc. Board?
I got involved in The Sky is the Limit when I was asked to participate in it by Maleah.

Ridge was diagnosed with autism level 3 in 2025 and we knew how hard it was to get the diagnosis. We not only want to help people get the answers they need but continue to express that just because he has a disability he can still achieve greatness.

My wife is the all around all-star though. Without her we would have never gotten the answers we need. All the credit needs to go to her!

Lauren and I have struggled through the doctor’s appointments and trying to figure out the best route for our son.

Meet the Family who took home the WonderFold W4 yesterday — and truly, their faces say everything. There’s a certain kind of joy that shows up when something lands exactly where it’s needed. You can see it in the way they’re holding that moment, the way the kids are already imagining the adventures, the way the parents are letting out a breath they didn’t even realize they were holding.

This wasn’t just a giveaway. It was a chance to put something meaningful into the hands of a family who will use it, love it, and absolutely run it into the ground in the best way possible. A wagon like this becomes part of the everyday — the ballgames, the grocery runs, the long days, the fun days, the “we’re doing our best” days. It becomes a little piece of ease in a world that doesn’t hand out ease very often.

Seeing this moment unfold reminded us why we keep doing things like this. Community isn’t just a word we throw around — it’s the stories you share, the needs you name, the trust you give us when you let us into your world for a minute. And we don’t take that lightly.

To everyone who participated: thank you for showing up with honesty and heart.
To our winners: we hope this wagon carries more than kids — we hope it carries memories, laughter, and a little extra breathing room on the days you need it most.

As we are quickly approaching The Sky is the Limit, we want to highlight some of the organizations we will have at the event to provide information and resources!

Traditional Arts Today connects people through artists and craftsmen to promote, teach, and preserve traditional art practices while embracing new art forms of the people and cultures that call Southern Indiana home.
