🚌 How do you keep students safe during transportation to and from LifeWise?

Answer:

LifeWise Northwest Allen uses three different vehicles every week - a full-size 55 passenger bus, a 24 passenger bus, and a 15 passenger church van.

Our full-size and small bus drivers are fully CDL certified, and our van drivers complete LifeWise driver training before ever getting behind the wheel. Your child's safety is always our top priority. 🛡❤

Considering enrolling in LifeWise Academy but not quite sure what we do or why we do it? Here's a quick look! 📖✨

What is LifeWise Academy?

We're a Christian ministry that offers Bible-based character education to public school students during the school day.

How does it work?

With parental permission, students are released from school once a week to attend an off-campus Bible class (usually at a nearby church or community location). They then return to school. This is called Released Time Religious Instruction and has been legal since a 1952 U.S. Supreme Court decision.

What do students learn?

We walk through the entire Bible (Genesis to Revelation) over several years. Every lesson connects a Bible story with practical character traits like kindness, respect, courage, responsibility- all centered on the gospel of Jesus.

Our Mission

To reach public school students with the gospel through a high-quality, community-driven program that is:

➡️ Off School Property

➡ Fully privately funded (no tax dollars)

➡ Completely voluntary with parent permission

We're not part of the public school system and not tired to any one denomination. We simply want every child to have the opportunity to hear God's Word and grow in character during the school day.

What a gift it is to provide Bible education to a public school student in Northwest Allen County! 📖✨

Reminder for NACS families!

You can enroll your student in LifeWise Academy today at these schools:

- Arcola (2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade)

- Aspen Meadow (1st - 5th grade)

- Cedar Canyon (1st - 5th grade)

- Eel River (1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade)

- Huntertown (1st - 5th grade)

The program is completely free for NACS students at these schools. Kids get Bible-based character education during the school day (off school property, with parents permission) and return ready for the rest of their classes.

School is back in session... and LifeWise is getting ready too! 🔔

In less that 3 weeks we're so excited to welcome students back for another year of Bible lessons, character building, and gospel-centered teaching during the school day.

Families, if you're looking for a simple way for you child to grow in God's Word without adding one more evening commitment, we'd love to have you join us.

The registration deadline for students to begin classes in September has officially closed, but the good news is you can still register today to start in October.
