We absolutely love receiving updates from our Forever Fosters, and this one made our day! ❤️

The Haflingers, Monty and Scotch, are thriving under Monika's wonderful care.

Monty's recent bloodwork came back within normal ranges, and his veterinarian was ecstatic with the results. His radiographs also looked great, which meant he was finally cleared to have his shoes removed. He's now getting around comfortably with no restrictions at all.

Both boys have shed their winter coats and are looking sleek and healthy. And Scotch? He's proving once again that senior horses have a special kind of magic. This sweet old gentleman has completely won over Monika's granddaughter's heart.

Most importantly, Monty and Scotch seem happy, content, and exactly where they're meant to be. Updates like these remind us why our Forever Foster program is so important. ❤️🐴Thank you, Monika, for giving these deserving boys such a wonderful home. 🥰

We had an absolute blast running the Western gate and enjoyed spending the day with so many wonderful horses and horse lovers. Thank you for supporting rescue horses and making a difference.

💙 FOREVER HOME WANTED FOR A VERY SPECIAL BONDED PAIR 💙

Meet King and Spirit, two best friends who have spent their lives side by side and are searching for a home where they can stay together.

🐴 King is a 14.3/15hh Thoroughbred gelding estimated to be 17–20 years old. He is the definition of a gentle soul. King follows people around like a loyal dog, loves attention, and never says no to pets, scratches, and kisses. Due to a chronic hoof issue, he is no longer rideable, but remains comfortable and happy, so mid-low maintenance. King was a certified therapy horse.

🐴 Spirit is a 9.1hh miniature pony stud, approximately 15–16 years old, with a personality much larger than his size. Spirit is full of character, charm, and confidence.

What makes these two truly special is their story. Spirit came to his family as a tiny foal alongside his mother. When his mother tragically passed away, King stepped in and helped raise him. For Spirit's entire life, King has been his protector, companion, and best friend. They are inseparable.

Their family loves them deeply, but as their owners grow older, they are looking for the perfect place where King and Spirit can enjoy their retirement together.

💕 FOREVER HOME WANTED FOR WREN 💕

Wren is a darling Hackney Cross mare standing approximately 12hh and somewhere in her 20s. Currently in short-term foster care in Savona, NY, this sweet little lady is looking for a forever family to call her own.

Wren can be a bit cautious when meeting new people, but she quickly wins hearts—especially if you arrive with treats! Once she gets to know you, she loves attention, evening walks, and spending time with children.

Her foster family has nothing but wonderful things to say about her. Wren is respectful of children, dogs, fences, and farm life in general. While she may stretch her neck like a turtle in hopes of reaching an extra bite of grass, she is otherwise a very well-mannered little pony. She is perfectly content in her pasture and comes galloping to the fence when she hears her people coming. Every morning starts with a cheerful whinny.

She is an easy keeper, does well with some grass, and is currently learning to enjoy hay. She has had her teeth and feet done and has a current Coggins.

⏳ Wren has approximately 30 days left in her current foster home before she will need a place to go.
