Volunteers joined in on the fun at the annual Trunk or Treat at the American Legion Post 238 this afternoon! It was a fun day with the community, sharing treats, pony rides, pumpkins and stories! It was great to see so much of the community! 🎃

This afternoon Hughesville volunteers were presented with a $2,000 donation by the American Legion Post 238 in Hughesville.

The American Legion is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.The American Legion’s success depends entirely on active membership, participation and volunteerism. The organization belongs to the people it serves and the communities in which it thrives.
