Please be reminded that because our meeting night this month falls on Saints John Day, the 30th MWSA June meeting has been moved to Thursday night, June 25th. Sampson Lodge No. 231 has been gracious enough to host us this month.

So if your regular excuse for not attending is because of all of the freeway construction downtown, here is your chance to attend elsewhere.

Tonight Huffman Lodge celebrated our Past Masters and honored our Masonic Widows with a dinner at Tin Roof BBQ. Aaron Alexander, WM welcomed twenty-nine guests, capping off his year in the East, on this very special evening. Brother John Burke, Senior Warden shared his ideas for next year when he will be Worshipful Master if tradition prevails. Following dinner RW Craig Enderli, Grand Marshal presented an interesting program about the importance of the Past Master.

It was a good night for Masonry in Huffman, Texas. Thank you Brother Enderli.

Breaking News!

The 30th MWSA updated the Traveling Gavel rules last night. It now only takes 5 visiting Master Masons to claim the Gavel. All other tie-breaking rules remain in place. The Gavel has been at Tomball Lodge #1096 for almost 2 years. It’s time to saddle up and go get it!

What a night! First, some of our Brothers met up with Chip and Sonda Green at the Agave Restaurant in Cleveland and then we all went over to support Stoney Larue, the Grand Musician, at his concert at the Texan Theatre. After the concert we were invited to a meet and greet with Stoney in his tour bus. What a great guy!
