Thank you to everyone who came out to support our Zonta Remarkable Woman Gala. The event helps Zonta raise funds to support and uplift local women and girls. This year, we recognized Megan Higgins as our first "Remarkable Woman" award winner. Her work to build an inclusive playground for our community was truly remarkable! Everyone had a wonderful time at this inspiring evening as we celebrated the remarkable women in our world and our own lives!

We had a great time meeting some new and "remarkable" women at our summer social. We also donated toiletry bags for the PATH Center (Providing Access to Healing) to share with the survivors in their care. PATH provides compassionate, trauma-informed care to survivors of domestic violence, SA violence and other crimes. The Zonta Club of Hudson works to support this type of critical community resource. Zonta is a global organization, but on this Fourth of July, our U.S. members are especially reminded of how precious freedom is. Inspired by Rosa Parks' words, we renew our commitment to working toward a world where every person can live in freedom, dignity, and equality.
